"My trip to Israel has been very interesting and informative. Learning more about my Jewish hertitage, visting many new places and meeting new people. While there were clashes between us, we did find new friends. I took many pictures and i plan to share them with my family and friends. I do hope to return someday with family to share the exprerience. My mom would have a blast and maybe my dad can see the holy sights too." - Jordan
"l've never really done that much world traveling. But when I first heard about Shorashim's Birthright trips, I immediately seized the opportunity to join a unique group of individuals on a ten-day trip to the State of Israel. And from the moment I set foot on Israeli soil, I felt something I've never felt before: acceptance.Having been diagnosed with Asperger's at a young age, and having struggled with this "syndrome" my entire life, I was intrigued at the possibility to tour the Jewish homeland with young adults who have also faced the day-to-day struggles of a life with an autism spectrum disorder. I am proud to say I have made many new friends and I hope to keep in touch with them in the New Year.Israel itself is a land of untold wonder. From walking the streets of the Old City to taking in the magnificent view from Herod's fortress on Masada Mountain, every day brings a new surprise. I have enjoyed my time here in Israel and it is my hope to come back someday in the future. So from all of us to you...SHALOM ME ISRAEL!!!!!!"-Noah
"I've had a great experience on the trip so far! I've riden a tank & a camel. I swam in the Dead Sea - it was warm for an ocean. I climbed mountains crawled tunnels & walked on ladders. I've been at two hotels so far. They've brought us to the Holocaust Museum & the children to silence museums. They sure know how to provide for us! We've had great food on this trip we've had pizza, falafels, burgers & subs. This has been an amazing trip so far." -William
