Shorashim has been an amazing experience and it's hard to believe this trip is coming to an end. Our last full night in the hotel was spent with the amazing musician, Udi Krauss. He reminded us what a gift it is to come to Israel and helped us understand the basis of Israeli music. Who knew Hava Nagilah was not at the top of the charts? The time we've had with our Israeli counterparts has been amazing. They've taught us about life in Israel, youth, culture, the IDF, and we've made true friends for life.
 

First of all, sorry to our loved ones who’ve waited with bated breath for our updates. We are still alive and thinking of you in the brief moments when we’re not sleeping and riding on a bus.

We arrived at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv at about 4 am local time. After our ten hour flight everyone was very out of it. After getting our bags we were greeted by the Israeli peers with a song and balloons. It was incredibly inviting, instantly comfortable.

Don't just snap away your camera carelessly in Israel.
