Boker tov from the Negev! After a night filled with endless amounts of food, bonfire entertainment provided by our guide, Shay, and everyone sharing the sleeping quarters of a goat hair tent, we woke up to the harmonious barking of Hillel at 4:30 AM! Shorashim 132 stumbled onto the bus and departed for our sunrise hike up Masada. The windy and steep trek up the Roman ramp of Masada was slow at first but with each step, you could feel the excitement brewing as we crept towards the beautiful summit.

Shalom lach! This blog entry is being written from and by the back of bus 132 - we all say “Hi Mom!” The past two days have been amazing, reflective and humbling. On Thursday evening we entered Jerusalem and stopped for a beautiful view of the city. We arrived close to dusk and were able to get some photos in the light and the dark, it was beautiful.

Shalom! This is Owen from bus 132! Wow, I am exhausted, but have so much to tell you about our recent travels. Last night, we arrived in Tel Aviv and after dinner in the hotel, we were treated to a private concert by Udi Krausse. We sang along in Hebrew as he strummed his guitar. He was funny, entertaining and taught us a lot about the feelings from the younger generation on Israel’s conflict.

Hello from Ali W. and Jen D. on bus 132! Today was the start of another amazing day in northern Israel. We woke up bright and early after a great and entertaining night of icebreakers at our Kibbutz in the Galilee. We have certainly come to find the bus as our second home. We spend several hours chatting with new friends, catching up on much needed sleep, and enjoying the beautiful view outside the window. It is completely unreal as to how close our group has become in 3 short days. The bond we already feel as a group is something we had never imagined.
