Saturday night- After ending Shabbat with Havdallah we left the Negev and headed towards the holy city of Jerusalem to celebrate the new week! Bus 151 spent some time on Ben Yahuda street, the absolute place to be on a Saturday night.

4AM wake-up? Really, Lior?

Yes, really. After waking up in the middle of the night, we headed towards Masada and prepared to climb. We hiked up the snake path - a long, windy trail weaving up the mountain. In Lior’s terms, the hike took about a long-ish 45 minutes. Once we got to the top, we all agreed the sweat was worth it.

Around 7:30PM EST on Tuesday, December 22, we, forty college students from the Boston area, arrived at JFK Airport. We checked in with trip leaders Eliad and Michal, made conversation with our new peers and prepared to embark on an incredible journey.
