To be continued...

Things have been really exciting in Israel. Over the past few days we climbed Masada, visited an organic farm, rode camels, swam in the Dead Sea, slept in a Bedouin tent, strolled through an open-air market, and hiked near a beautiful desert stream. Everything has been amazing so far and we can't wait to come back and tell you all about it. Tonight we visited Ben Yehuda street for a night out in Jerusalem and tmorrow we are visiting Mount Herzl before finishing some last minute shopping.

We hope to arrive without any snow delays and will definitely miss this amazing place.

Hanging out in Haifa

Jan

Right now, we are sitting in an elementary school in Haifa and playing with Israeli children. The school primarily serves a community of recent Ethiopian immigrants and aims to engage students beyond formal classroom education. Some of us are learning basic computer animation with the kids, while others are reading in the library or doing arts and crafts. Everyone is really enjoying their time here and looking forward to the rest of our visit in Haifa!
