Does Anything Live in the Dead Sea?

Since we missed a day of blogging, I will tell what we did yesterday as well as today. Yesterday we got to go to a farm-like place for tourists and got to eat random veggies. Matt R, Jonny P, Liad, Ryan and Grady all ate the hot red peppers. I have never seen such a collection of babies. After, we went to the desert and hiked for a bit. Yotam of course did his Borat impression, and it gets us every time. We then went on a camel ride. Johnny and I shared a camel. We named our camel “Humpy.” He was a fierce camel and showed us a good time. We then ate food while sitting on the ground, that was cool. Next, we enjoyed some nice tunes with Mohammed, the Bedouin of Kfar Hanokdim. Later that night, we went on a night hike and went star gazing, it was incredible. I saw a shooting star. After which we finally went to bed.

Today, we woke up really, really early….4 am to be precise J. It was worth it as we went to Masada to watch the sunrise. It was a delightful sight to see. However, we were all very, very, very hungry, and at around 8 am, we finally got some grub. We then traveled to the Dead Sea after that, it was honestly one of the coolest things I have ever done. They don’t joke around, you actually float! I did get some water in my eye, which was extremely painful. And now here I am, in Jerusalem, writing this blog, and I am excited to do Shabbat. So lets hope all goes well…Peace out from Israel.
