Eim Ovdat Hike

Wow is the first thing that I want to say about this place. Out of all of the hikes I have ever done in my life, this by far was the most fun and beautiful hike I have ever done. From the glorious mountain sides, reflections in the water, to the climb and ladders alongside the canyon, this hike was out of this world. Being really in touch with nature and loving the outdoors, this was an excellent experience for not only me, but also the other people on the trip who haven't opened up to the outdoors as often. It was nice to share this experience with all sorts of people from so many different environments. The trip is NO DOUBT filled with goofballs. I'd say we have the most awesome group and time is flying by with these people who have come to be my friends. Being able to look back at everyone conquering the mountain makes me feel like I have gained some real friendships and these people actually mean something to me! For example. Another girl on the trip happened to be afraid of heights, which is somewhat unfortunate while climbing up ladders on the face of a canyon! I love being that peer to help her succeed in conquering her fear. I'd tell her to grab my hand and I helped guide her up the mountain checking every so often if she was still good! And guess what! SHE WAS STILL GOOD! YAY! She rocked it and it was a great bonding experience. I find that this happens with a lot of the people on this trip. Sure I am outgoing and I love meeting new people, but to be sitting with someone who, at home you would never think you would talk to... but you're actually having a great conversation with them... THATS AWESOME! These people rock. This trip is sick. I dig it... and now we're off to ride camels! WOO! Peace. Love. Happiness. Roots baby!
