On Shorashim's Boston Community trip you experience the same adventure of Israel - through the eyes and hearts of Israeli peers - along with other participants from campuses around Boston. You will travel for 10-days with Israeli friends who will share the beauty, excitement and complexities of their country with you.
Special considerations - such as dates that align with your break and programs that match the nature of your campus - will be incorporated into your trip. As well, you will take part in a community service project in Haifa - part of the long-term partnership between the Israeli city and Boston.Make lifelong Israeli and American friends and expand your social group at your university or in the Boston area.

Tentative Trip Dates:May, June, July, and August
This program is for students in the Boston-Area only with special consideration going to students at the following campuses: Brandeis, Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, Tufts, Brown, Wellesley, Amherst, and Williams). Applicants who are either not from Boston area or not currently residing in Boston area will not be accepted, except under special circumstances.
A trip for graduate students and young professionals, ages 22-26, will be offered in July.
