Our Adventure of River Rafting

On Wednesday we went ricer rafting on the Jordan river. We were split up into groups of 6-8 people and, as you know, 8 college students in a raft can get a little crazy, with some minor injuries (an oar to the face.) Everybody had a great time - we were warned before there may be 6 inches drops, we were a little freaked out.

After getting into groups, we were rolled out into the river. And after getting acquainted with our steering, we were on our way. We quickly caught up with the next group's raft, and we had a splash war! Then we passed them to catch up with our group leaders' boat, only to see that Coby was Rogerio and Nitzan dp all of the rowing, while he enjoyed the sun. We bumped their raft, which made them spin out... in the slowest way possible. Soon, though, disaster hit. We ran into some tree branches in the bank, which allowed for the next group to catch up to us. They attached theirselves to our boat; mooched off of us while we hit the rowing. We decided to catch back up with the staff, so we could both mooch off of them. Due to us rowing so fast, the other group rammed into a bunch of rocks and trees and got stuck. Soon, we caught up with the staff, but our plan backfired and they attached themselves to us. The current started to pick up, and we began to move as fast as 5 miles per hour. Again, disaster hit and I fell backward into the laps of my raftmates as the staff passed by unscathed.

Luckily, I was saved, but as we were trying to keep up with the current, which was turning us sideways, I was hit in the face with an oar. I was thinking about retaliating, but then I decided I would get him back later. We soon saw the end, but due to the river being so shallow, we ran into another branch. Soon after, we made it on shore, and no one was hurt (except, maybe, for some bruised prides.) And that was bus 221's adventure of river rafting.
