Registration for new applicants opens at noon EST today.

You may want to print out this page and have it next to you as you register.

A note about university emails: university email addresses often do not accept email from our registration system. If you sign up with a university address, you may not receive important emails about the trip and may miss the opportunity to travel to Israel.

Step #1: Open the registration form by following this link. The form will open in a new window - you will need to click through to the registration page.

Step #2: Fill out the left side of the application with the email address you check most often, a password you will remember, the last four digits of your social security number, and your phone number. IMPORTANT: IF IT IS NOT ALREADY SELECTED, BE SURE TO CHOOSE "SHORASHIM (US)" AS YOUR TRIP ORGANIZER.

Step #3: You will be taken to a page that describes the next two steps: completing the application and confirming your email address. Click on the link that says "Show me the application" and continue with the application process. Be sure to choose the correct program and to confirm Shorashim as your Trip Organizer. If you are not one of the first 100 applicants to a program, you will need to register to the waitlist, and may be asked to submit a deposit when a space becomes available. DO NOT SWITCH ORGANIZERS OR CHOOSE A TRIP ON WHICH YOU CANNOT TRAVEL - YOU WILL END UP LOSING YOUR PLACE "IN LINE" FOR THE TRIP YOU WANT.

Step #4: After you complete your application, you will be sent an e-mail in order to confirm your email address. All emails will be sent from birthrightisrael@shorashim.org. Please add this address to your address book or do whatever is necessary to ensure that our emails are not identified as spam or junk mail. All important information will be delivered by email, so it is important that we are able to send mass emails to you.

Step #5: When you have confirmed your email, you will receive another e-mail from Shorashim and Taglit-Birthright Israel acknowledging your application. The email from Shorashim will have information on how to submit additional information - steps you must take before your application is complete.

That's all you need to do to apply for your Taglit-Birthright Israel gift! Within several days, you will receive more information about the trip and the status of your application.
