Step #1: Open the registration form with the button below. The form will open in a new window - you will need to click through to the registration page.
Step #2: Fill out the left side of the application with the email address you check most often, a password you will remember, the last four digits of your social security number, and your phone number. IMPORTANT: IF IT IS NOT ALREADY SELECTED, BE SURE TO CHOOSE "SHORASHIM (US)" AS YOUR TRIP ORGANIZER.
A note about university and AOL emails: .edu email address will NOT be accepted for Taglit-Birthright Israel registration. If you do not have another email address, register for a free address at an email provider such as Gmail and Yahoo. We do not recommend AOL as they tend to filter important mail.
Step #3: You will be taken to a page that describes the next two steps: completing the application and confirming your email address. Click on the link that says "Show me the application" and continue with the application process. Be sure to choose the correct program and to confirm Shorashim as your Trip Organizer.
Step #4: After you complete your application, you will be sent an e-mail in order to confirm your email address. All emails will be sent from birthrightisrael@shorashim.org. Please add this address to your address book or do whatever is necessary to ensure that our emails are not identified as spam or junk mail. All important information will be delivered by email, so it is important that we are able to send mass emails to you.
Step #5: When you have confirmed your email, you will receive another e-mail from Shorashim and Taglit-Birthright Israel acknowledging your application. The email from Shorashim will have information on how to submit additional information - steps you must take before your application is complete.
That's all you need to do to apply for your Taglit-Birthright Israel gift! Within several days, you will receive more information about the trip and the status of your application.
