Please enter the information below in order to be listed as a Shaliach for Shorashim's Taglit-Birthright Israel program. Taglit-Birthright Israel: Shorashim registrants will be able to choose your name after they have registered to designate you as their "recruiter." As a Shaliach, you will help us to spread the word about Shorashim's Taglit-Birthright Israel program and earn awards and incentives!

Rules

1. You must be registered with Shorashim to participate in the Shaliach program. An individual’s participation is at the sole discretion of Shorashim.
2. You must be an alum of a Shorashim program to participate in the program. If you are nmot an alum, please contact us for special permission to recruit.
3. You will receive credit for each registrant who submits a deposit before Taglit-Birthright Israel’s "allocation deadline" (hereafter, "deadline"). That date will be set during the registration period by Taglit-Birthright Israel.
4. Credit is awarded only for eligible applicants. Generally speaking, applicants are eligible if they are ages 18-26, Jewish, and never been to Israel on a peer program. For detailed rules on eligibility see Taglit-Birthright Israel’s website.
5. Each registrant can designate only one recruiter.
6. No coercion, pressure sales, or misrepresenting the program. We only want applicants who want to go on our program and we only want recruiters who represent Shorashim's Taglit-Birthright Israel program as the high-caliber program that it is.
7. Recruitment is for the purpose of spreading the word about Shorashim’s Taglit-Birthright Israel program and for competition within the Shaliach program itself, and there is no other incentive attached. In particular, Shorashim does not necessarily award staff positions to its recruiters. If you feel that you are qualified to be a staff person, you may contact us at birthrightisrael@shorashim.org.
8. Referral to the program is not a guarantee of acceptance. We do our best to accept applicants - particularly those sent to us by our alumni - on the dates that they request, but we are not able to fulfill every request. The best thing that an applicant can do to better his/her chance of being accepted on the program of choice is to submit the deposit as soon as possible.
9. Shorashim reserves the right to cancel participation of any recruiter who does not abide by the rules of the program.
