It was my second time visiting Yad Vashem but it was just as moving as the first. I was looking forward to the stunning view of Jerusalem you are exposed to at the end when you walk outside. I had a good conversation with one of our Israeli participants after.
Well, today we woke up from a somewhat ideal night of sleep. Shabbat allowed us to really sleep in because the day was all about rest and relaxation. Half of us chose to spend this period of chillful vibes by shooting some basketball outside of the kibbutz.Â
I could practically feel the history radiating out of the stones as Ido led us through the streets, some of which were thousands of years old (and some somewhat-recently refurbished).
I have been nothing but excited and grateful to be apart of Birthright, this experience so far has great, I have made new friends and have taken tons of pictures on the hike of the amazing rock formations and the beautiful waterfall.
Get ready for an amazing adventure! #Birthright #Shorashim
