Greetings!
My name is Matan Korrub and along with Amy Berger I will be staffing the Shorashim Bus 149 trip to Israel from May 20 - May 31. I cannot begin to explain how excited I am for this trip, and how much I am looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing the country. A little bit about myself-
I'm a 30 year old attorney living in downtown Chicago. I grew up on Chicago's North Shore (Highland Park & Deerfield). I went to Indiana University for undergrad and got my law degree from Loyola University Chicago. I work hard, but I still find the time to enjoy myself. My current hobbies include running, yoga, and exploring the city with my labrador puppy named Miles.
My father is Israeli, and even though I was born in the States, I've always had a strong connection with Israel. I've been on several trips to Israel, but I'm excited to be leading one! On my past trips I was lucky to have some amazing staff members who made a lasting impact on me. I'm thrilled for the opportunity to help guide others on what is certain to be a meaningful and memorable journey.
Below is a picture of me overlooking the city of Hebron on my last trip to Israel just this past January. Each trip I've taken has been unique and special. I smile when I think about the adventure that lies ahead for our participants.
