Ben Yehuda Street | Page 2 | Shorashim - Israel with Israelis

After sharing about our experiences, it was apparent that we had an amazing experience that can never be recreated, but we have created amazing connections with one another and with Israel that will keep us bonded far beyond today.

A guide led us through the exhibits, and a lot of us watched the videos from survivors of the Holocaust. We each reacted to the experience in a different way, but we all thought it was incredibly powerful.

After a meaningful morning, we went to the shuk (market) on Ben Yehuda street and got a taste of the busy environment right before Shabbat. We sampled Israeli pastries, drank fresh squeezed juice and picked up souvenirs.

"Next stop was Rabin Square where we learned about what shook up Israel on the quest for peace . Then, what we were all waiting for, heading to the beach! We tanned, swam in the Mediterranean, and fixed our hiking tan lines on the sand."
