Falafel | Page 2 | Shorashim - Israel with Israelis

Midway down the mountain we encountered a huge, awe-inspiring fortress, which Elaun explained was fortified by Muslims after they held the crusaders off at the end of the first crusade. It was amazing to stumble upon such an amazing piece of history!

This day will be very hard to beat, but Bus 358 is excited to see what Shorashim holds in store for us tomorrow!

I am happy I was able to have a brief taste of the true Israeli life and set the context for the incredible cultural journey. am happy I was able to have a brief taste of the true Israeli life and set the context for the incredible cultural journey.

"Hiking Mt. Arbel was one of the best expirences of my life. The views were unbelievable! I am so grateful for this opportunity."-Rachel Shaykin

After the first three days together, Bus 222 feels like one big Mishpachah (family). It turns out that spending 72 straight hours with a group of people brings you all together. Who would have known?

Then we stopped for lunch and a bunch of us got our first Israeli falafel. The falafel here is 100x better than anything I've had in the states. It was also a good chance to talk to the Israelis on the trip and ask them about their life, favorite things to do, and what they like to eat.
