What is your favorite place in Israel?

Machane Yehuda Shuk in Jerusalem and Shuk Hacarmel in Tel Aviv -- I love seeing all the different fruits, vegetables, spices and anything else you could ask for at the shuks!What is a fun fact about yourself?

What's a fun fact about yourself?

My family is originally from Argentina, I was born in Israel, and we moved around North America, including Toronto, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia before I finally settled in Washington, DC. As a result, I have been fortunate to be fluent in Spanish, Hebrew, and English. My college admissions essay was about what language I dream in!

 

What are your words of wisdom for your future participants?

When it comes to all the activities throughout the trip, keep an open mind and listen to what your peers and guides have to say about the various topics. There is a lot you can learn from others, and about yourself!

I love to bike and be outside!

Try to soak everything in and be in the moment, this is such a special experience that you will remember for the rest of your life.

What is your favorite place in Israel?

Jerusalem because only in Jerusalem you can see a nun and a rabbi and a Muslim person waiting for a bus together. The atmosphere in the shuk, the smells, the food the unique old city, the pubs the streets. It's a small world in a city, the people, the stones, the history, the food, the culture, the atmosphere.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I trained as a chef. I can touch my ear with my leg.

What are your words of wisdom for your future participants?

Don't forget your sunscreen lotion.
