Har Herzl

This morning, we went to Mt Herzl. It was a lot more emotional than expected. The whole area and greenery was stunning. Hearing the Israeli's stories and connections was extremely saddening, especially because we've gotten so close with them this past week. I truly felt a connection and I want to be able to still feel it when I return home to my routine lifestyle. We have such a special group where everyone is comfortable.
After Mt Herzl, we walked around Jerusalem, shopped, and ate. The hummus I got will forever ruin the hummus in the states. It was dangerously good.
Can't wait for the next couple of days and become closer with our group and Israel!
