Day 3
Hello all, what a great time we’re all having in Israel! The weather is good, but most importantly, the people and the sights are great! The trip leaders are doing a fantastic job keeping everyone busy. We have seen the northern part of the country the past few days and tomorrow we are heading down do Tel Aviv to experience the city life. Today we were in Tzfat, which was such a treat. It’s one of the holiest places on earth, with a history going back thousands and thousands of years. As you walk through the town you can’t help but feel the history through the old stone buildings, the worn streets, and the well maintained synagogues. Tzfat was also the birthplace of Kabbalah. When we get back to the Kibbutz at night, everyone is tired and ready to eat. The food is a bit different than what most of us are used to, but it is delicious in its own way. The Israeli participants on our trip are truly here to help make our experience the best possible. They are open to any and all questions and are full of energy and life. Until our next post! Best everyone, Marc Taggart
