Walking the land together
This blog entry is being written from the bus on our way to the airport. It is 2am and while we are all exhausted, we would not trade in a minute of the adventure we just had. The past ten days have felt like an eternity because we have experienced so much. We didn’t just visit sites or check historical landmarks of a list. We walked the land like Abraham and the pioneers in the land of Zion. We didn’t just see the Kotel or Masada or Har Herzl, we heard stories of the people that came before us, we felt the impact of the souls that had passed through the land. And included in that picture is the bond we made with each other. Throughout this whole journey, we were together, experiencing everything as a community. And that’s the best part. We are now leaving Israel, but these connections will last a lifetime.
