Bonding Near a Campfire

By Rachel Gillett

We woke up in the Bedouin tents after a late night filled with laughter and the kind of joy only brought about after bonding near a campfire.

Following breakfast, we started hump day off correctly by mounting camels. The short camel trek had its share of instagram worthy pictures.

Following the camel riding activity, we spent the course of the day visiting various look out points, David Ben Gurion's gravesite, and took a lovely hike throughout a national park. Our ability to connect with the great outdoors was plentiful and we were grateful for the opportunity.

The drive to Masada's hotel gave us much-needed rest and dinner was delicious. After dinner, we bonded and allowed ourselves to have a lively discussion culminating in a metaphorical group hug.
