Interview

By Mandi Tellerino

What is your name? Nicole Lucas

Where are you from? Flagstaff, Arizona

How old are you? 22

Have you ever been to Israel? Nope. Birthright is my first time coming to Israel.

What was your favorite stop on day four? a. The Tzfat Gallery of Mystic Art

Why was that your favorite place of the day? I felt that it connected me to a part of Judaism that I only knew a little bit about before on the spiritual side. I really liked when he mentioned that nothing is a coincidence. When he mentioned that I realized how true that was and how it connected in my life. I believe that we all meant to be there and I was there for a purposeful reason.

How are you going to incorporate the Kabbalah? I don’t know much about the Kabbalah. but I want to implement it into my life. After Abraham talked about the book Jewish Meditation, which I bought so I can have a better understanding of the kabbalah and its meaning to incorporate it into my life.

What did you think about the Udi Krauss Concert? I thought it was really cool to listen to an Israeli musician and his stories and songs. They were all really powerful being in Israel and hearing them. I liked how he had the audience participate because it brought our group closer.

What did you do on your night out in Tel Aviv? Went to a few bars in Tel Aviv near the hotel we were staying at. I was able to bond with the other Birthright participants and I am so blessed to have had this opportunity.
